The museum's exhibitions offer an immersive experience into the fascinating world of rituals, folklore and festivals through hundreds of masks, costumes and accessories, not forgetting the people who use them and the reasons why.

Plan your visit

The museum is open Tuesday to Friday from 9.30am to 5pm and on weekends from 10.30am to 5pm. Last admission is at 4.30pm.

Closed on Mondays, Ash Wednesday, 1 May, 25 and 26 December, and 1 and 2 January.

Allow between 1.5 and 2 hours to visit the museum, depending on how long you would like to spend exploring each area.

You do not need to book your visit in advance, but if you would like to do so, please visit our online ticket office.

Prices

Free admission for children under 6, schools within the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, the press, holders of Attractions and Tourism cards, ICOM, MuseumPassMusées, teacher cards, Educ Pass and Friends of the Museum.

Admission to the Museum is free on the first Sunday of every month.

Before, after or even without a planned visit, our shop is freely accessible from the main entrance during the Museum's opening hours.
