The MUMASK is not only a place for conservation and exhibition, it also plays an active role in scientific research. Its main areas of study are intangible heritage, the ethnology of masked practices, religious anthropology and the Binche Carnival.
This research is carried out by our scientific team, in close collaboration with numerous national and international partners from the academic, museum and cultural worlds.
