What to do near the museum ?

Renowned the world over for its Carnival recognized by UNESCO as intangible heritage, Binche is an ancient medieval town with a rich architectural, cultural and tourist heritage. Take advantage of your visit to the museum to explore the town's other treasures. Nearby, discover the “Centre de la dentelle” (Lace centre) and its refined art, the Saint-Ursmer Collegiate church and the municipal park.

Stroll along the ancient ramparts and immerse yourself in the world of Carnival by discovering the statues representing its five emblematic actors.

The Grand-Place and its surroundings

Don't miss the Grand-Place, where you can admire the architecture of the town hall and the UNESCO-listed belfry. Let yourself be seduced by local specialities by visiting local restaurants and artisans, who will be delighted to make you discover their regional products.

- 10.15 a.m.: arrival at the MUMASK
