Do you have any of these photos at home?

MUMASK is organising a photo hunt!

Of the two million visitors who attended the 1935 Brussels World's Fair, many were struck by the 'Redskin village' and captured it on camera. In addition to the objects acquired by François Chladiuk, it is the numerous photographs already discovered that have enabled us to piece together this slice of history.

Even today, it is likely that other photographs are tucked away in attics and cupboards, in your home or your family's. Have a look around and you might just make a wonderful discoverv!

If you find any pictures of the Lakota and the village that were in Brussels in 1935, you can send them to us via our emall address: communication@mumask.be. If so, you may have the opportunitv to have vour document selected for disolav in our exhibition spaces.
I’ve got a photo! Please contact the museum.
