The documentation centre of the mumask possesses about 5 000 books in various languages. They deal with different fields :

The Carnival of Binche
folklore
The history of old religions
Historical newspapers, press cuttings and academic journals are also available. The documentation centre also comprises a large image database with photographs, postcards and slides as well as audiovisual documents.

The documentation centre is open to the public and welcomes researchers, teachers, students and other enthusiasts of both Belgian folklore and masked practices all year round.
Opening hours
The documentation centre is open to the public by appointment only from Monday to Thursday from 9.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m and on Fridays from 9.30 a.m. to noon.
